While not typically associated with ransomware, its activities focus on information exfiltration, predominantly from governmental institutions and diplomatic sectors, but has expanded to include telecommunications firms. The group is assessed with high confidence to be of Chinese origin and is also known by the aliases BRONZE MEDLEY and Red Lamassu.
